What is Falcon Felines?

Falcon Felines is a capstone project for students studying Companion Animal Sciences in the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences here at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls.

About Falcon Felines

Our Falcon Feline Program is in collaboration with the Dunn County Humane Society (DCHS) based in Menomonie, WI. Since our cats come from DCHS, all adoptions are finalized through them.

Students volunteers come in multiple times throughout the day to care for our cats. Duties include feeding, cleaning, playing with, and socializing them.

Falcon Felines had its start in Hagestad Hall, and has since moved to North Hall 25K. Adoption hours are held every semester depending on availability and the cats we currently have. Check our social media's for adoption hours updates!

Since Falcon Feline's start in Fall 2021, students have successfully placed 57+ cats into loving homes as of Fall 2023!
